Chrono trigger ps1 iso download
Chrono Cross was developed primarily by scenarist and director Masato Kato and other designers from Chrono Trigger, including art director Yasuyuki Honne and composer Yasunori Mitsuda. Nobuteru Yuki designed the characters of the game.
The story of Chrono Cross focuses on a teenage boy named Serge and a theme of parallel worlds. Faced with an alternate reality in which he died as a child, Serge endeavors to discover the truth of the two worlds' divergence. The flashy thief Kid and many other characters assist him in his travels around the tropical archipelago El Nido. Struggling to uncover his past and find the mysterious Frozen Flame, Serge is chiefly challenged by Lynx, a shadowy antagonist working to apprehend him.
Upon its release in Japan in and in North America in , Chrono Cross received high ratings and critical acclaim, earning a rare perfect The game shipped 1. Square also released a "Millennium Edition" featuring a calendar, clock, and music sampler disc. Chrono Cross features a diverse cast of 45 party members. Each character is outfitted with an innate Element affinity and three unique special abilities that are learned over time.
If taken to the world opposite their own, characters react to their counterparts if available. Many characters tie in to crucial plot events. Since it is impossible to obtain all 45 characters in one playthrough, players must replay the game to witness everything.
Several characters speak with unique accents, including French and Australian English. Chrono Cross begins with Serge located in El Nido, a tropical archipelago inhabited by ancient natives, mainland colonists, and beings called Demi-humans.
Serge slips into an alternate dimension in which he drowned on the beach ten years prior, and meets the thief, "Kid". He learns while infiltrating Viper Manor that ten years before the present, the universe split into two dimensions—one in which Serge lived, and one in which he perished.
Through Kid's Astral Amulet charm, Serge travels between the dimensions. Unaware of the switch, Kid confides in Lynx, who stabs her as the real Serge helplessly watches. Lynx boasts of his victory and banishes Serge to a strange realm called the Temporal Vortex. Everything items, weapons, attacks, spells, etc. The original challenge is retained US release was made easier. Various bugs have been corrected. This incredible hack installs a battle arena in A.
Three ladders of monsters exist for three difficulties - easy, medium, or hard. These can be traded for high class items in the right of the coliseum. Cool huh? But it's important that you read the 'readme' before using it, as it explains important details.
Do you think Chrono Trigger is way too easy? Well then apply the Hard Type patch! Also, the character stats have been lowered to a degree, so when you hit certain peak levels you will not be as powerful as you would be in the original version.
One more thing I did to add more of a challenge to the game is remove most equipment from the characters, so your defense will not be very high at the beginning. The tradeoff is that you get more experience from battles, so you will have the chance to get to a high level early in the game. This is a 'spoof'. It replaces about half of the main dialogue with hilarious jokes. Important aspects of the storyline are still retained.
It's a fun spoof; like an episode of South Park. PLOT: Chrono Trigger takes place in an original world similar to Earth, with eras such as the prehistoric age, where early humans and dinosaurs share the earth; the Middle Ages, replete with knights, monsters, and magic; and the post-apocalyptic future, where humans and sentient robots struggle to survive.
The characters frequently travel through time to obtain allies, gather equipment, and learn information to help them in their quest. The party eventually acquires a time-machine vehicle known as the Wings of Time, nicknamed the Epoch. The vehicle is capable of time travel between any time period without first having to travel to the End of Time.
This game is, by far, one of the best games you could ever play. Characters are well thought and developed, they have their own goals, their own skills, their own strengths and weaknesses. Plot is simply amazing and it always keeps you on your toes whenever I encountered a warp gate I couldn't wait to see where it will lead me. Each time and place has its own share of problems and it's up to the player to help them and slowly change past, present and future. At some points you can be nice or mean and it will change how future characters see you - will they help you for free or not?
You can do only the main necessary quests, but why? Side quests give you many powerful items that will greatly help you in the end battle against the evil that wants to destroy the earth.
But the best part are skills - you have skills that only one character can perform, two characters and even all 3 of them! And it doesn't matter which 3 characters you choose well, Crono is a must-have character for the first part of the game, later you will have an option to not have him in your squad, if you so choose - they will always have 3-character skills, be it attacking or healing.
Finishing certain quests can be done in different ways and it's so much fun to figure it out. That's not all, though.
